The standard by which or the PURPOSE for the movie.. To empower... Look at the other movies on this site and 90 percent of them are all white. You may not notice, but most of our "American Classics" dont depict us [black ppl] as any character of importance other than being butlers or some type of service person. This movie was the opposite of that. The opposite of MOST BLACK films that depict our women as hoochies, or any of the paradigms we are exposed to. If youre hooked on fast paced over stimulating American movies to keep from being bored this is probably not for you. That being said, every scene is beautifully filmed against the backdrop of some awesome landscape. The acting is well done. It is a simple slice of life of 2 unusual people. I liked it but would be careful who I recommended it to. Its not for everyone.

OK this i will only say once talking or directing your comments about child pornagrphy will get you banned every time, that is sick and is not excusable!! children will not be brought into the conversation in that form, you can say what you want bad about me, but not about children that is for one not right in anyway!!!!...and im sure plenty of people will agree. and if you have just one ounce of any moral standing you will or should feel the same!!...cause i know if you had a child you wouldnt want that happening to them now would you.
i watched this in the cinema its the worst film ive ever watched in a cinema its so rubbish it takes bout 45 minutes to get even slightly ok then disappoints for the next 30 minutes then the last 15 minutes are beyond a joke worst ending ever avoid at all costs

this movie was very slow and had a horrible storyline and 2/10 worth of action, i beleive the only reason it got recognised was because of clooneys apearence and he didnt even bring himself to this movie

for all of you who say this is a bad movie- well, it´s supposed to be. this is robert- rodriguez- style... grindhouse. just look at the cast of this movie- that proves that rodriguez is a filmmaker with high reputation. if you don´t understand movies like that, leave it the f*** alone and stop underrate it with your comments!!
I thought that this was a very good film. I loved the fact that it was almost a "From Dusk till dawn" reunion. Michelle played a fantastic part, and well, she looked smokin in one part of the film. The film was not a big budget film, but I believe that the producers did a fantastic job with what they had. I cannot wait to see the sequel!!
wow action packed movie, jessica alba naked in the shower scene, lindsey lohan naked in the pool...wat could be better??? =) 2 thumbs way up
